How to connect additional calendars

How to add additional calendars to your BarBooks for Chambers account

The guide and video below, will walk you through how to connect additional or alternative calendars to BarBooks such as Gmail. 
  1. Navigate to your GMAIL calendar. 
  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots next to the name of your main calendar.
  3. Click “Settings and sharing”.
  4. Scroll down to the section titled “Integrate Calendar”.
  5. Copy the information in the field titled “Public address in ical format”.
  6. On the "Calendar Settings", please tick the box for "Make available to public"
  7. Navigate to BarBooks Clerk.
  8. Navigate to your Profile at the top right hand corner. 
  9. Select “Profile and Settings”.
  10. Select “Integrations”.
  11. Click “Add Calendar” in the Subscribe from Web section.
  12. Enter in the necessary information. 
  13. Paste the information you copied from GMAIL into the “Paste your ICS URL” field.
  14. Click “Add Calender”.

    Your GMAIL Calendar will now appear in your Barbooks Diary. In order for your BarBooks diary to now appear in your GMAIL Calendar you need to:

  15. Click “Generate URL” in the Subscribe BarBooks Diary in your calendar app section.
  16. Click “Copy to Clipboard”.
  17. Navigate to your GMAIL calendar. 
  18. Click on the “Plus Sign” next to “Other Calendars” on the side bar. 
  19. Select “From URL”.
  20. Paste the information you copied from BarBooks Clerk into the “URL of Calendar” field.
  21. Select Add Calendar. 
  22. Your BarBooks Clerk diary  will now appear in your GMAIL Calendar.
