What happens on the day I go live?

On the morning of your Go-Live date,  you will receive an email that will contain your BarBooks login credentials. Before getting started, we encourage you to link your Outlook calendar to BarBooks and activate your Microsoft SSO which will allow you to log into BarBooks using your Microsoft credentials and add an additional layer of security to your account.Our support team will always be on hand to assist you and ensure that you have a smooth transition to the new system.

Will I be trained on BarBooks for Chambers?

Yes, our training programme consists of 2 stages. Stage 1 being an interactive demo session and Stage 2 being self study of our Help Centre resources.

Do I own my financial data?

Yes, you do. BarBooks will not access or otherwise use any of your financial data contained within the software. For full details of our privacy policy, see the BarBooks Privacy Policy.

Where is my data stored?

BarBooks for Chambers is a fully cloud-based system therefore you data is stored on AWS Australian Servers for our AU clients and AWS UK Servers for our UK clients. (Amazon Web Services). 

How do I recover my data if my computer crashes?

Your data is automatically saved and backed up by BarBooks, so that, if your computer crashes for any reason, you will not lose changes you have made in BarBooks. Your data is stored locally on each device as well as on our server.

What devices can I use BarBooks for Chambers on?

You can use BarBooks on all devices, Mac, PC, iOS and Android.

Does BarBooks have a mobile/tablet app?

We do not currently have a mobile app however you can add BarBooks for Chambers to your home screen. IOS (iPhone/iPad): Navigate to Safari > Go to the BarBooks Web App > Click on the CleanShot 2023-04-13 at 17.22.52@2x icon > Select "Add to Home Screen" > The BarBooks web app will now appear on your home screen as an application.
